The new Intelligent LMS should satisfy needs of tutors and learners and improve their mutual interaction. Learners will get better support for their learning as tutors can design a several number of various units where all relevant materials about a topic area might be addressed. Allocating learning outcomes will be based on undertaking these units and submitting an assessment.

Tutors will be able to assess learners' progress more precisely and therefore identify problem areas more clearly. Moreover, the system will aid in the evaluation of learners' assessments and provide some easy statistics. Tutors can manage the whole learning process by setting up workflows so the learners will attempt to take only the units for whose they have achieved required prerequisite learning outcomes.

The Intelligent LMS will support the most needed features of the social networking such as posting comments, participating in discussion or even collaborating within groups. Although the interactions will empower peer-to-peer communications regardless of the role, the levels of privacy are taken into account so publishing of a comment might be private, public, or within a group. As default, the group of all users, group of tutors and group of learners are established.
